We first started looking at buying a property in Fuerteventura back in December 2010. We contacted several estate agents and Roy was the first to send us some property details via email.
Our next holiday to Corralejo was in February 2011, so we took a day out to visit some properties with Roy. We found one apartment in particular that we really liked, but due to personal circumstances we had to put our dream on hold. However, over the next 12 months, Roy kept in contact with us, keeping us updated and informed on any developments and answering any questions that we had.
In January 2012, we were finally able to go ahead with the purchase and Roy and Nerine made the whole process far less stressful than we had ever imagined. After many years of returning to the Island for family holidays, we decided it was time to look to buy our own home & although we had tentatively looked before we had never managed to find anything that completely suited. So many emails were sent to lots of agents & Roy was the first to make contact & within 24 hours, he had sent me a listing of properties to check out.
With Roy's help, we narrowed down the area to search & fairly quickly found a couple of properties that looked on paper to be ideal. Having not long come back from Fuerteventura, we were unable to return to view but Roy gave us such detailed descriptions that we managed to make a decision to go ahead & make an offer unseen.
During negotiations, we were kept up to date daily with phone calls & emails, never once did we feel anxious or concerned. Once our offer was accepted, Roy outlined each step of the buying process & put us in touch with local lawyers who were reliable & equally as professional. Any queries we had were dealt with promptly & again more or less daily contact continued until we arrived to sign contracts (having been picked up from our hotel & taken to the lawyer's office by Roy) & finally view our new house!

Having a property in Fuerteventura allowed us to take many happy family holidays. The Island has stunning beaches and fabulous coastlines. A different beach can be visited every day of your vacation and no two are the same. Having not used the property much recently, we decided to place the house on the market with a local agent. After sometime of it being on the market still no sale was secured, so we thought we would venture into another town and see if a second agent would have more success. This is how we stumbled across Roy and Nerine @ Fuerteventura Property World.
From my first call to their office, I felt immediately comfortable with their professionalism and their valuable advise. After some good marketing and fabulous photos of the property being advertised, we received a call to advise that we had a buyer who wished to make an offer without viewing the property! All sounds too good to be true, but believe me it happened. Roy and Nerine made sure the sale went through quickly, smoothly and without any hitches. Some five weeks after initial contact with the purchaser, completion has taken place.

From the viewing of our property on the day after the worst rainstorm for years, Roy and Nerine have been a pleasure to do business with.
We were given good advice, put in touch with excellent lawyers, bank personnel and reliable local tradesmen. Roy also took time to take us to a variety of furniture outlets in both Corralejo and Puerto del Rosario to help furnish our apartment.
Roy kept us up to date at all stages of the buying process by phone, email and with photographs from viewing through to completion which took 5 weeks and 3 days.

We first started looking at buying a property in Fuerteventura in November 2010 and contacted a number of Estate Agents. Roy replied promptly.
Early in 2011, we viewed a number of properties and decided to buy in Corralejo through Roy. Although we had read about the buying process, we had very little idea how it worked in reality and therefore felt quite anxious about buying abroad.
These anxieties were quickly dispelled, as Roy was fully involved in the process from the beginning to the end and explained every step as we proceeded with the sale. Roy kept us informed by phone, e-mail and photos and throughout the process, Roy dealt with any issues extremely professionally and promptly.

We, as many people have, wished and thought about buying a property abroad and never really thought it would materialise as you do hear of the horror stories on TV and worry about almost everything that could go wrong. etc. However, all this changed when we viewed a villa with Roy and Nerine of Fuerteventura Property World.
We have holidayed on Fuerteventura a few times over ten years and have always chosen Correlejo as it is in our opinion an idyllic area - with superb beaches - unspoilt with superb amenities and plenty to do.
We had been searching many property websites and locations and for some time, had researched as many aspects as we thought were relevant to buying abroad. We contacted quite a few estate agents and right from the start, Roy's first email was swift, informative and professional which is how he has remained throughout the whole process.
We had viewed a few properties with other estate agents but for one reason or another, we remained unsure and not at all confident at the thought of buying abroad until the viewing we had scheduled with Roy. Up until that point, Roy had only exchanged a few emails and a couple of conversations with us but we already felt at ease with him and his very well-rounded approach.
In brief, Roy and Nerine have been leading the way by calling and emailing us, helping us through every step of the purchase process. My wife and I have felt completely at ease and any worries we have had, Roy has always taken time for us and talked us through the issue at hand, explaining that part of the process. Roy's approach, character, standard and professionalism are second to none; he has been quite simply brilliant making every step of the way transparent, simplified and enjoyable.

We have bought and sold property in the UK, Greece and on the Spanish Mainland, both residential and commercial. In these times, we have experienced a good cross section of Estate Agents (along with numerous individuals who seem to have acquired the skills overnight!) and have never had the inclination to write a review of our experiences before. Anyway, feeling a natural exhaustion about the prospect of another foreign venture, but also feeling the need to find a winter destination that did it for us, we began to look again at the Canary Islands.
We then noticed a property that was completely ideal for us on the Fuerteventura Property World website. We established contact and then made arrangements to go out the following week.
We arrived late on the Saturday with the feeling that viewing the property would just be a formality and as much as we were excited to see the apartment, we weren't expecting to do so until the Monday. However, 10am on Sunday morning, Roy was there to pick us up from the hotel and whole experience just got better from there on out. Roy and Nerine are a personable, professional couple that will "hold your hand" from start to finish ... and beyond.
I would describe my own personal experience with them as "a breath of fresh air", in an environment that I have often previously found to be quite intimidating.

Having looked for a property on Fuerteventura for some 8 years, my wife and myself have been through "the mill" with Estate Agents on the Island.
We first came across Roy and Nerine Webber and Fuerteventura Property World in 2008 and very quickly found the property that fitted our criteria. But due to circumstances outside the control of either Roy or ourselves, a protracted period of both negotiations and mistakes by the vendor made the purchase a laborious period, throughout which Roy's professionalism was carried through, and our claim to fame is the largest folder Roy has ever accumulated in the sale of a property.
He kept in contact at all times with updates, was upright and honest when things didn't go right (though no fault of his), and the outcome has been we now have our Home in Corralejo, and I would have no hesitation in recommending both Roy and his Company for Service, Professionalism and Advice.
He will lead you from viewing to buying with all the help and assistance you could wish for, and an added bonus is he is always there with advice and help when you move in, and he will always be available to answer even the most mundane to the most irrelevant questions.

Om vår fantastiska mäklare Roy Webber på Fuerteventura (English translation below.)
Vi är en familj på två vuxna och två barn på 8 och 14 år från Stockholm(Sverige) som 2009 bestämde oss för att försöka förverkliga vår dröm om ett eget semesterboende på Kanarieöarna.
Vi hade besökt Gran Canaria hösten 2009 men bestämde oss ändå efter att jämfört med de övriga Kanarieöarna via YOUTUBE filmer och reseguider för att undersöka Fuerteventura närmare. Vi lockades nämligen dels av den avspända, hjärtliga atmosfär som finns där och dels av de fantastiska helt oslagbara sandstränder och hav som omger ön och som gör att t ex Världsmästerskapen i Vindsurfing äger rum på ön varje år.
Vi undersökte flera lokala mäklare på Fuerteventura men enkelt uttryckt var det bara Roy Webber (Fuerteventura Property World) som höll mättet hela vägen. 3-5 mäklare är relativt stora på ön men Roy Webber var den enda som lyckades bibehälla vårt intresse för sina tjänster som seriös mäklare. Andra mäklare tog antingen alldeles för lång tid på sig att svara på våra mail, lyssnade inte på våra behov eller hittade på ursäkter för att inte ha tid med visning på utsatt tid m m.
Roy ledde oss genom hela köpprocessen med att titta på lägenheter, hitta advokat, prata med Spansk bank och förklarade allting noggrant, ärligt och pedagogiskt. Han fick oss alltid att känna oss trygga genom att svara snabbt och ärligt på mail, hålla oss uppdaterad om hur processen går, gav rekommendationer om hur vi ska hantera olika situationer och frågor som dök upp , därför har vi bara gott att säga om Roy. Han är dessutom en fantastisk fotograf som håller processen levande och spännande genom bilder som han skickar utan extra kostnader. Även efter avslutat köp fortsatte han att hålla ett vakande öga på att våra intressen, rekommenderade brillianta personer som hjälpte oss moblera, tar hand om säkerhet mm. Utan honom är vi osäkra på om skulle ha vågat att gå igenom en sådan här process långt från Sverige. We are a family of four with two children ages 8 and 14 living in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2009 we decided to try and realize our dream of finding a holiday home in the Canary Islands.
We visited the Canary Islands in the autumn of 2009 but decided after comparing it with the other Islands via YouTube videos and travel guides to explore Fuerteventura further. We were attracted by the relaxed atmosphere that prevails, the great sandy beaches and the sea that attracts World Windsurfing Championship to the island each year.
We investigated a number of local brokers on Fuerteventura to help us in the purchasing process. Only Roy Webber who owns and runs Fuerteventura Property World lived up to our expectations and walked us through the process providing excellent service from day one, every step of the way and beyond. There are 3-5 other real estate agents operating on the island but only Roy emerged as a straightforward, honest agent who protects his client's interest at all times. Other brokers were lousy at responding to our mails, did not listen to our needs or found excuses for not showing up for viewings, or on time.
Roy led us through the entire process; looking at properties, finding the right Spanish lawyer and bank, explained everything thoroughly and honestly. He always made us feel safe by responding quickly and honestly to the mails, kept us updated on how the process was coming along by informing us where we were at all times, gave his recommendations on how to deal with different situations and issues that came up but left the decisions to us. We have therefore only good things to say about Roy. He is also a fantastic photographer who kept the process alive and exciting through images and pictures he sends without extra costs. Even after the property purchase was completed, he continued to keep a watchful eye, recommending brilliant people to help with the furnishing of the property, advice about security etc. Without Roy's expertise, dedication, honesty and diligence we would never have dared go through this process. Having decided to buy an apartment in the Corralejo area in late February, I set about contacting estate agents for details. Roy and Nerine were the first to reply and were really helpful in sending details and answering all of the (many) questions I sent their way, advising me truthfully of the advantages and disadvantages of different areas.
We were due to visit in April but the volcanic ash put paid to that. We rebooked for July and rearranged our viewings, arranging to see Roy first due to his response to queries. He kept in contact, sending details of properties and answering questions.
In July, Roy picked us up from our hotel and showed us several apartments. We visited a complex which we really liked, though the apartment was not for us. Roy dropped us back at our hotel and we discussed the way ahead. We rang Roy and asked if we could see other apartments at the same complex. This was no problem and he promptly took us back and showed us several other apartments, one of which we really loved.
Roy then negotiated with the developer (and took a cut in his fees) to reach a compromise in price to enable us to buy the apartment.
Throughout the buying process, Roy and Nerine did so much to help us - from helping set up our Spanish bank account and putting us in contact with a good lawyer, liaising between agencies, to supplying contacts re: supply and fit of shutters, blinds and lighting. It would be harder to list what they did not do. They really do put a lot of work (quietly) into making sure you have as stress-free an experience as possible.
They even held our keys until we arrived a few weeks after completion and were on hand to point us in the right direction of where to go to obtain furniture and fittings for the apartment - and are still helping now.
If anyone is thinking of purchasing a property in Fuerteventura, we would recommend they contact Roy and Nerine if they want a quality service and a stress-free experience. I would definetely use them again and would like to thank them both for all of their help in our purchase, above and beyond the normal service.

We found Roy's site purely from a photograph of a villa he had taken which was in a property magazine. Well, we were lucky.
From our first enquiry to the signing of the property we bought, Roy and Nerine couldn't have been more helpful. They helped us with the entire process and met us with the keys to our home in the sun in July.

We asked our son and daughter-in-law to contact Roy in May to look at an apartment we had seen on Fuerteventura Property World Internet site. They live in Corralejo and it meant that we didn't have to wait until we visited the island again.
They made an appointment with Roy to go and view it. He took them to see it a few times because we kept asking for measurements etc. and it wasn't a problem. They just telephoned him and he arranged an appointment quickly.
They were impressed with the apartment so we decided to buy.
Roy put us in touch with a solicitor who was very helpful and the sale was completed in about six weeks. We couldn't believe how quick it went through, as it takes longer in England.
Roy is now taking some photographs for us to put on the Internet as we have decided to let it for holidays as well as use it ourselves.

Sometimes I cannot believe buying a property in Fuerteventura was so quick and easy. Many thanks to Roy Webber from Fuerteventura Property World.
We found a beautiful apartment in Corralejo, almost immediately, and six weeks later, Roy took receipt of the keys for us.
He helped us find an excellent English speaking solicitor, checked the apartment was ready for completion and even arranged for the lights to be installed. His photographic updates were always a welcome reminder of progress, as the patio was installed and the builders finished the kitchen.
Maybe not everyone will be as lucky and speedy, but Roy's professional approach and helpful attitude certainly assisted the process.

I recently purchased a villa in Fuerteventura through Roy & Nerine Webber of Fuerteventura Property World and I must thank them most sincerely for the professional and personal help they have given me.
On reading through the Client Testimonials on their website, I am sure many people would consider all the compliments too good to be true. I can assure anyone wondering about using an Agent in Fuerteventura not to hesitate contacting Roy & Nerine.
When searching for a property, I looked at all the Agents' websites giving details of my requirements and the first to return my enquiries plus a telephone call was Roy. No overwhelming selling of properties just explanations and details that he knew personally from visiting them. Good and bad points being mentioned as properties were discussed. I was never harassed by continual phone calls or emails but if I had queries, they were always answered swiftly and honestly.
When my friend and I decided to visit the island to do some viewing, Roy arranged to pick us up and take us as many times as we wished to visit properties. The one property we really liked we were told by another Agent had structural problems and Roy arranged a builder's inspection whilst we were there to assure us that there were no problems.
Having decided on the property, we were then introduced to an excellent solicitor who made all the necessary arrangements for the purchase including my NIE number, connection of electricity and water.
Roy was always available if there were any "problems" during the purchase process and he even visited the villa when the electricity board connected the supply again. All the formalities were completed within 2 months.
When we first visited the villa after completion of the purchase, Roy & Nerine met us and took us to the villa bringing us bread & milk etc. They even lent us a toaster until we got fixed up. Roy was then constantly available if we needed any help during our first weeks' stay there. What more can I say!
Since this time Roy has often sent me an email and has even helped me purchase a car. Both Roy & Nerine have offered us so much help I cannot thank them enough. We now look forward to meeting them every time we go to the island. They are true friends.

I have been coming to Fuerteventura for 16 years plus, it has proved to be the most attractive and varied island in the Canaries and I have always dreamt of having my own place there.
I first came across Roy along with several other agents after trawling through web sites such as Freedom4sale. I then reduced this number by the responses I received to my inquiries measured both in time and quality. I ended up with 4 agents which I arranged to meet on my arrival on the island of which Roy was one.
My initial meeting with Roy went poorly as there seemed to be obvious confusion and we arranged to meet again that afternoon. I am very pleased I persevered as once Roy had discovered the reason for the confusion, an apology was offered immediately which in itself is commendable. I found Roy to be quite unique for an estate agent - professional in the way he was willing to listen to your requirements and then show you just the properties that meet those requirements rather than traipsing you all over the island in the hope that something might attract you.
If you know what you want Roy is the man to go to. Needless to say I ended up buying through Roy who not only reduced his fee to the vendor to enable them to meet my offer but has been a great help throughout the buying process and even after completion. He is always more than willing to help with any queries. I wish Roy and Nerine the very best for the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone which is most unusual for me.

I first met Roy and Nerine about 2 years ago when I first was interested in buying a property in Fuerteventura. At the time, property prices were higher and not wanting to loan I thought it would be an endless task.
Throughout the 2 years, Roy and Nerine kept in touch and became more like friends and at the same time looking for a property to suit my finance. Then one day, the email came that I had been waiting for and he had stuck to his word ... a lovely apartment at a price I could afford!
The legal procedure could have been confusing. I had emails from Roy daily helping me through each part and he even helped me find a notary lawyer in the UK, which we only had 2 in this area which are few and far between.
Everything went through so smoothly. And now I have my little place in the sun, thanks to Roy and Nerine! And always pop to see then when we are there. I strongly recommend Fuerteventura Property World.

We started looking on the internet for an estate agent in Fuerteventura in spring 2008. We found 3 or 4 companies and e-mailed them with our enquiry. Of those companies we chose to go with Fuerteventura Property World for 3 main reasons: (1) Roy & Nerine e-mailed us back immediately with a list of properties they thought we might be interested in. (2) Roy rang to speak to both Pete and myself to advise us on the way things are done in Fuerteventura and what to expect. Roy Webber provided excellent input to help us make our decision to purchase our apartment in Corralejo in 2008, and he continued to provide very valuable advice about the buying process, helped us to get set up and put us in touch with other resources on the island. His knowledge and experience are very apparent, and just as important he is very efficient and responsive without being overly pushy.

As a couple who had never bought a property outside the UK before, we had a certain amount of apprehension when we decided to buy an apartment in Fuerteventura. However, Roy from Fuerteventura Property World and an English-speaking solicitor eased us through the procedure within six weeks of putting in our initial offer.
Although we were back in the UK, Roy kept us abreast of the various stages through regular e-mails and phone calls and any queries we had were instantly answered.
We will shortly be flying out to the island to pick up our keys and although the sale is now completed, Roy assures us he will still be available to help should we have any problems.

E' l' amore per quanto ho incontrato che mi ha spinto a comperarvi un appartamento.
Mi sono rivolto all' agenzia di Roy Webber; con questo signore, un artista, un mago della fotografia, e la sua deliziosa consorte, Nerine. Ho avuto un incontro prima di tutto umano; hanno avuto pazienza nel sapere cercare ci? che andavo desiderando, mi hanno sempre dato tutte le necessarie informazioni; hanno seguito passo a passo tutte le fasi, sempre con le migliori soluzioni e risposte.
Ma la sopresa piu grande ed a me piu gradita e giunta soltanto dopo che ormai avevo acquistato casa, per cui il rapporto dal punto di vista commerciale era sostanzialmente terminato. Stante delle situazioni problematiche che dovevo in qual modo affrontare, e trovandomi in Italia, ho potuto avere l' incondizionato aiuto di questa famiglia.
Cio che voglio dire, e che non ho trovato solo un bravo venditore, ma una persona verso la quale ci si puo rivolgere con una sostanziale fiducia; e questa oramai e una merce molto rara al giorno d' oggi.

I first spoke to Roy Webber in 2007 when I was looking for a holiday home/investment property in Fuerteventura. He was really helpful and gave me options of properties I could afford.
Once I decided on a property, Roy provided details of banks and solicitors and then held my hand throughout the whole process. I don't think I could have done it without his help. You will not find a more helpful and friendly agent on the island, do yourself a favour and look no further.

True enough, it was great to do business with Roy! He has been very helpful throughout our buying process, moreso as we did everything from the UK! We started looking for a dream place of our own last year when we made our third trip to Corralejo. We met up with some estate agents that we thought were respectable and good at their job. All they did was advise us what they wanted to sell us and not what we wanted. After our return to the UK, Roy Webber contacted us to introduce himself and immediately we could tell he was different.
His professionalism and knowledge was refreshing. He only contacted us to inform us of new properties coming onto the market that we might be interested in and not just any old rubbish that we where used to getting from other agents. He tailor made his search for quality, price and location. This bespoke service made him the obvious choice for us to find our dream home in the sun.
After he found what he thought was the place for us, he sent us all the information available then rang us to give us other information he thought to be relevant.
From the very first contact, he was totally professional and the only time he didn't reply to our emails was when he was asleep! Other than that, he emailed back within 30 mins or when he phoned, he always had time to talk and was very knowledgeable and took our hand and guided us through ever aspect of the purchase and took away all the fear of buying overseas. Indeed, everyone in Corralejo knows him and always smile when they know they will be dealing with him.

We decided in 2006 to buy a property in Fuerteventura. We looked at various websites and sent various emails asking for information. Some didn't reply at all, some replied eventually. Roy Webber replied the same day.
We bought a property through Roy, and have had full commitment from him from that day onwards. He has always replied to any questions the same day, has always done everything he has agreed to do, plus lots more above and beyond the call of duty.
We have met up with him three times on the island. When he has taken us personally to places and people to set up all legalities etc., he has always been more than helpful. When we signed up he said he would help us in any way, and he meant it.
